ABOUT

Hello - I am so glad you are here. It is a great privilege of my life to accompany people through their therapeutic journeys. I have been a social worker for nearly a decade and have found myself drawn individually and professionally to people who find themselves navigating times of disintegration, woundedness and pain. I believe healing and revival are possible for our minds, bodies and souls and I aim to provide a nonjudgmental, compassionate and honest space for clients to find restoration.

I specialize in working with teenagers and women who desire to live an authentic life, but may feel stuck for a multitude of reasons - PTSD, trauma, anxiety, depression, shame, grief, betrayal and more. My therapeutic approach is a blend of systemic, cognitive behavioral and narrative therapy. I would be honored to partner with you as you navigate whatever season of life you find yourself in.

“Do You Want to be Well?”-Jesus

I create the space for healing conversations to take place. If you are open to it, Jesus offers to do the real work.

Restoration is Possible

In Via, the Latin phrase for “On the Way” encapsulates one of my core beliefs - we are all a part of a beautiful, messy and chaotic journey to become fully integrated into who we were created to be.

The In Via Counseling logo depicts a rope that has many knots. The knots near the end are loosened, until they are completely free. In Via Counseling is entrusted to Our Lady Undoer of Knots. It is my belief and experience that Mary is always willing to accompany us through the deepest traumas in our lives to help us find freedom and healing. Her beauty, grit and intentionality are given freely to us as we work to undo some of the knots in our hearts.

Although I believe incorporating spirituality enriches the therapeutic process, I will never force spirituality among clients and welcome all who are yearning for the space to begin again.
